A & E’s love story is one that gracefully crosses borders, bringing together the Netherlands and Italy in a celebration where two cultures meet and blend beautifully.
Their wedding day was filled with joy and heartfelt moments, and even the occasional rain could not dampen the spirit of a day meant for love, laughter, and celebration.
For their ceremony, A & E chose the enchanting Castello Formentini, a remarkable venue nestled in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, renowned for its beauty and rich history.
Surrounded by an expansive park, the castle overlooks the rolling hills of the Italian and Slovenian Collio, offering a breathtaking setting for a truly unforgettable wedding.
As the weather turned rainy, the ceremony was held inside the castle’s spacious medieval hall, which created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and timeless.
As photographers, we had already planned an alternative that would ensure the couple could still enjoy a special moment dedicated to their portraits, even in the rain.
Before the ceremony, we carved out a brief window of time for photographs that capture the love they share—images filled with tenderness and quiet romance.
Sometimes it is precisely the unexpected that gives rise to the most unique moments, like those shared beneath an umbrella!
