This editorial dedicated to wedding dresses stems from a desire to celebrate Venice as an exceptional setting.
The models were photographed in evocative outdoor locations and iconic places around the city, where the elegance of fashion interacts with the unmistakable atmosphere of the lagoon.
From the sophisticated intimacy of Harry's Bar to the historic elegance of Caffè Florian, each setting offered a different backdrop, rich in light, detail, and character.
One of the most fascinating moments of the shoot takes place at the marvelous Scala Contarini del Bovolo, an extraordinary example of Venetian architecture:
a graceful spiral staircase that winds its way up a cylindrical tower and leads to the splendid Belvedere terrace.
From here, the view opens up over the entire lagoon city, in a panorama that captures all the magic of Venice.
The visual journey culminates in the magnificent Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti, one of the city's most striking architectural landmarks.
Here, the spectacular grand staircase overlooks a large atrium flooded with light filtering through a large four-light window.
Precious marbles, decorations, and refined reliefs cover the walls, ceilings, and balustrades in an extraordinary variety of materials, workmanship, and iconography:
a true kaleidoscope of colors and details that amplifies the elegance of the images.
In venues such as these, photography becomes a story and a testimony to a beauty that transcends time.
And every time we have the opportunity to work in such extraordinary spaces, we feel deeply fortunate to be able to observe, interpret, and share all this splendor through our eyes.
